Below is our story told in Chris’ words then mine…
In Chris’ Words:
So, my story starts out like this: Spur of the moment, I received a call from a friend who asked if I would like to go with him and his friends to Panama City, FL for Spring Break. At this point, I was feeling a bit antsy, had not been on a vacation for quite awhile and needed some time off. I immediately called my friend back, booked the flight, and starting packing. The night of my arrival, one of the guys I was with mentioned that he had invited a few friends over to our hotel, which is not out of the ordinary. A few minutes later, his friends arrived. Of course, one of them being Meghan. Due to the number of people hanging out that night, we were able to speak briefly, but never really had a chance to get to know each other. Three (3) days later, my friends and I decided to visit a club down the street which we had heard great things about. As I walked in, I looked ahead and there was Meg, except she was surrounded by a group of guys, just a bit intimidating.. At this point, I stood back, mustered up some courage, walked up to her and asked if she would like to dance. Fortunately, she put her hand in mine, and we have been together ever since. The last thing I expected was to travel hundreds of miles away on Spring Break and find the woman I would be spending the rest of my life with, what are the odds?
In Meghan’s Words:
It was the 2nd year I’d be traveling to Panama City Beach Florida with my friends for Spring Break. My sister Carrie and I drove down to ODU in Norfolk VA to meet with our friends Roger and Shey. We left ODU and started our 15 hour drive to Florida. We arrived the next day. We freshened up and headed out for a night on the town. Our friend said before we go to the bar let’s stop by my friend’s hotel room for some drinks. I remember meeting Chris and speaking with him briefly before heading out to the bar with my friends. A few days later my friends and I decided to go to a club. At the club my sister and I were dancing and partying with our friends having a great time when a familar face asked me to dance, then he asked me if I wanted to grab another drink at the bar and the rest is history. I met the man I’m going to spend the rest of my life with while on Spring Break in Panama City, Florida.
